What Are Aligners?

Clear aligners have revolutionized the way we can move teeth!

They're clear plastic that goes on top of the crooked teeth, or the space teeth, any teeth really that you want to see moved.
Once they go on top they slowly move the teeth...now, you're supposed to change the aligners gradually. And every single aligner moves the tooth ever so slightly until at the end the last aligner that you move the teeth are perfectly straight.

As you can see here, they not only move the crowns of the teeth, but also the roots of the teeth. So they really move all of a tooth in all three dimensions, and at the end, the result that you get is fantastic straight teeth that are square inside the bone and are parallel roots with each other.
