Can aligners move teeth like braces?

David wants to know if transparent aligners can move teeth as effectively as braces? 

And the answer is a resounding yes! 

Linebackers are a tool, like everything else. If you give me a field hockey stick, I'm not going to score goals like Sidney Crosby. But in the right hands, goals can come in! 

It's the same with aligners. They can perform almost any movement, with a few exceptions. For example, if a tooth is stuck in the bone, you'll need wires and pins to pull it out. Otherwise, aligners do the job!
