Pushing the pencil

Use the pencil you were given at your first appointment, or a chopstick. 

Place the pencil horizontally on the lower teeth, just behind the canines, and bite down lightly. 

Place the tip of your tongue under the pencil and try to push it upwards. 

Push the pencil for 10 seconds. 

Relax and repeat the exercise 10 times a day.
